The Air Triangle
The positions of the rulers of these three houses provide insight into the relationships of the born. Here too, ruler 1 is does not an organic member of the cycle and a connection must be consciously made with it for the effective use of the powers. The other expression possibilities of the cycle go through the Ascendant and / or the rulers in the first house, who then color the expression with their own nature. This again works indirectly.
The procedure in the cycle starts at the 3rd house, in which a first acquaintance takes place, followed by a permanent collaboration (whether or not contractual) in 7, which can then develop into friendship in the eleventh house. At a position of ruler 1 in one of these houses we see an open, interested, approaching and connecting attitude. From the position of ruler 3 in 7, stronger partnerships emerge by nature after the first acquaintance. In ruler 3 in 11, one acts as an intermediary in an association and after a first acquaintance, friendships develop naturally. Ruler 7 in 11 establishes friendships and associations from the more solid relationship, while with ruler 11 in 7 the union plays a role in the marriage. Finally, at the position of ruler 7 in 3, the fixed connections quickly revert to looser contacts: People want to get out of the tight connection, like to feel free. Apart from this cycle, there is a special connection between houses 3 and 10. Ruler 3 in 10 entails public access and publication of his own writings. Minutes are also written and official documents are drawn up. Ruler 10 in 3 commissions writing work, such as authorized translations. This also includes official interpreting.
This cycle gives a picture of the processing and resolving capacity of the born person. Here, too, ruler 1 is not an organic member of the cycle, so that conscious connection must be made with it for the effective use of the powers. The other means of expression go through the Ascendant and/or the rulers in the first house, who then color the expression with their own nature. This means of expression therefore also works indirectly here. In this cycle the essence is distilled and processed (8) from the experiences gained (4), after which the actual experience, as a story, no longer needs to be held and can be released, sublimated (12). This process runs from 4 through 8 in the natural course to 12. Evaluation is also processed here.
At a position of ruler 4 in 12, the processing (8) including the crisis (8) is skipped. The experience (4) is then sublimated or repressed in 12, becomes non-touchable, unattainable. With a position of ruler 8 in 4, the crises keep returning in the reliving (4). The return of food (rejection by the stomach) is also part of this mode. The position of ruler 12 in 8 bring up the past, stirs things up again, while ruler 12 in 4 is a good position for recycling, such as a junkyard. This cycle can be recognized in everyday life as a cooking process: the collection of ingredients (4), followed by their conversion (8) and the disposal of the unusable remains (12). The processing of incoming mail at an office, for example, also follows this process.
In inner personal processes, the start of it in the 4th house is crucial, because in addition to the shielded vulnerability and security (4) there is also the capacity to give access to painful experiences. This requires the assistance of Venus. The cycle works on the basis of what is remembered and not repressed. Special attention can be given to the combination of houses 4 and 9, as experience and tradition in relation to upbringing, growth and development. Ruler 4 in 9 promotes broadening of the vision offered in the culture of the parental family and enables growth and development from there. The comfort zone is left here. Ruler 9 in 4 brings the ideas from outside into the home culture and may enriches it, or fixes it as unworkable in his own clan. In this way, traditions are maintained in family relationships and deviations from them are blocked. The possibility of growth in 9 has become caked and frozen in the conservative 4th house.
